Kemper Johnston Primary Sculpting Tool
(also known as Johnston Three-in-one Tool)
Used to perform all the primary sculpting and shaping functions. This tool design was a collaborated effort between Doll Artist Jack Johnston (Prosculpt clay inventor) and Kemper Tools Company. Made from high quality steel, these highly polished tips are firmly set in a hardwood handle for a total of 6″ in length. This versatile tool includes the primary sculpting tool, the ear tool, and the fingernail tool.
You know how useful your own finger is, the trouble is you cannot get into tight spaces with your finger and also your finger is too large for tiny details. Well, this tool feels like I grew two extra tiny fingers exactly for this purpose.
I put it to the task of sculpting the neck, shoulder, and armpits on my mermie – you know all those dents which are usually a pain to go through. I was amazed how good the new tool felt. It also makes great nail beds on the fingers. It instantly became my favorite tool.
